The Christmas Markets in Manchester are a must-visit for locals and tourists, offering six weeks of festive fun and shopping.

Now in their 27th year, Manchester's Christmas Markets with their iconic wooden chalets have become legendary, drawing millions to the city centre each year. With over 200 stalls spread across nine locations, visitors can enjoy seasonal treats, mulled wine, and a wonderful festive atmosphere. Whether you're after handmade gifts, craft items, or delicious food, the markets cater to all tastes and ages.

When do the Manchester Christmas Markets 2025 open?

Manchester's Christmas Markets will open across the city on Friday 7 November and close on Monday 22 December, except for A Taste of Christmas on Albert Square and the stalls at Cathedral Gardens which will remain open throughout the Christmas period until 4 January 2026.

Look forward to a Christmas lights trail, City Ferris wheel and rides, Christmas parade and Festive Ice rink.

Coaches will leave from:

1. MAGISTRATES COURT, B'HAM - 09:00am

2. ASTON INN, B6 - 09:15pm

3. HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS, WALSALL M6, J10- 09:45pm (Tempus Drive, Walsall WS2 8TJ)

For all event locations (Timings are subject to change).

Drop off and pick up will be direct and a short walk away from Manchester City Centre. All booked customers will be contacted 1- 2 weeks prior to the date above with all relevant up to date information.

Return Journey: Coaches will leave no later than 19:30pm from the designated pick up point. Pick up points at location will be the same as drop off points. TBC.

All Executive coaches have a toilet onboard and a short service station stop will be made onboard every journey. (Please note that on some occasions an executive mini coach will be used which does not have toilets onboard. Again a service station stop will be made).
